So my 2013 LR4 with 85k miles has started to have a small oil leak thru the vacuum pump, any recommendations on a new pump or should I just change the gaskets on it? pump is working properly still, oil leak is very small ...

Make sure you get the right kit, mine was a v2; the older style is v1, but double check by looking at it.

If I did it all over I’d wait to do it with an oil change; about 1.75 qts came out, but the most annoying part was waiting for it to stop dripping. Drained pan should reduce both, but definitely not necessary.

I think the v1 is for the v8 engines the v2 is for v6 engines from 2014-2016

I think at face value that’s correct, but there are transition years/models and folks that replaced the old with updated version that may not follow this rule 1:1.

You can tell from up top which one; the v2 has a flat face

New style pump (LR082226) requires longer bolts (LR060479)

Theres a thread on here that talks about it

I replaced mine (2011) with the updated or V2 pierberg unit they suggested in the thread a few years ago and all good here still. Less prone to leaks supposedly
