I think the improved timing chain is urban legend. I know a few guys with 2013s and we have all had to do our tensioners and chains fwiw. And the later model years certainly have the same issues- ttforcefed

A new finding: intake valve solenoid all burnt out
175k miles and the tech thinks this might be the cause of the sporadic violent shutter at cruising speed issues that ive experienced a few times- ttforcefed

New coolant/oil weak spot
A heater hose or something behind the intake is leaking coolant right into the harness of the EXTERNAL oil level sensor. Add this to the list with pvc, vacuum pump, and crossover pipes.- ttforcefed
