I think PayPal is the safest and cheapest way for international transactions. When I wanted to use my debit or credit card, my bank wanted to charge me additional 3.5% on top of 3.5% that it is charged by dedicated company that handles international purchases, so that would be 7% extra, now , when I wanted to use other bank for wire transfer, they wanted to charge me $46.oo fee for this particular transaction which in my case was to much for such a low cost item as Ladder. After all i proceeded with Paypal with no add.fees on my side and 2.5% fee on Neil's side which I added on my account anyway, just to feel better and Neil appreciated this gesture very much.
sounds good . . . my wife said she buyh it for me for Valintine's Day!
I am waiting on a call back for confirmation. My old parts shop has a ups account and can take delivery. I can redistribute from there. Just an option. I will re ship them personally to whomever. The shipping address will be Bux Mont Air Incorporated, 2960 Clymer Ave, Telford, PA 18969.
I have an account number of my own still. So we are ready to go. Here's what I have to summarize. Let me know where we stand.
1 in SoCal (davidfkon)
1 In MD (chesapeakerover)
1 in PA (techboydino)
1 in ? (Team Jeff)
mean this price
4 or more Units: £165.00 each ($264.85)
Cost Shipping £100.00 ($160.52)
Unit Price £190 ($304)
shipping from PA to your destination.
so basically $304 each person to the US, then forward shipping after that.
1. Who do we pay for the initial purchase? (Paypal I presume for safety?)
2. If the supplier uses my account to ship here, will it be cheaper than $160.62
