Yeah, I'm in the Denver Boulder Colorado corridor. 2 dealers for the whole state. Lots of Range Rover owners in Boulder. They said too many broken cars and they are having staffing issues. (its been this way for 6 years).
The service guy said no warranty service because i'm 4 months beyond limit on purchase date. Even though i'm under miles by over 6k. He said now there is time in December to look at it, November was just for oil service (I thankfully do that myself). If I take it to a CAT specialty shop i'm *sure the problem is going to be the Cat....becuase $.

Land Rover isn't the only ones... My Rivian service center is 2 months out. Has been that way since April when I got my R1T. Seems the unpopulated areas have no waits though.

My engine light keeps turning off and back on now. Could this be something other than the Cat?

Mine toggles due to MAP sensor errors, but it's not the sensor since I've replaced it a few times. Next up is a TB cleaning (next oil change if I can remember)

I had same code with a beautifully running motor and it turned out to be coolant getting in the combustion chamber and deteriorating the cats. Knowing what I know now, the first thing I would do is a combustion gas leak test just for peace of mind... Test kit is cheap from harbor freight. I tried Cataclean first, which helped get rid of the fault code, but obviously didn't solve the root cause. Good stuff, but wasted money in my case.

Certainly could be something else for your situation, just giving you something to consider that is a cheap way to rule out deeper issues. Hopefully just a bad sensor though.

Did you have a head gasket leak?

I am assuming it was a head gasket leak or possibly a cracked head. I didn't dig much deeper after my test results, and instead chose to cut my losses and sell the car "for parts".
