New long block and supercharger shipped yesterday, should be here in a week. I'll see what I want to order for new bolt ons and sensors when it gets here. I'm thinking new cam solenoids and sensors is wise.

First new parts day today. New radiator and new (reman) alternator. Thought about a starter, but at $500 I'll wait for it to break.

Pulling the transmission to get it refreshed and I need to complain about that plug on the back. Who thought it was wise to put a pull release inside the transmission behind stuff? Overall working on this is more annoying than difficult. One heat shield piece will be held on by an M8 and an M6 requiring two different sockets. Why?

Bring the transmission to a shop in the winter beater / race car.

Going a little further down that slippery slope, ordering upper control arms. I've got access to the bolts the rest of you could only have nightmares about.

Starter is a timed maintenance item. I believe a cel will be triggered for it at 100k, ignore it and reset it at your own risk. It has to do with the start stop system wear.

This is one of several reasons why I chose not to put a new motor in mine.... Too many "while the patient is on the table" moments could easily double the cost. Look forward to watching your progress.

Love that transmission hoist.
