Was bored browsing the jaguar forum (same engine, after all) and came across this recent thread announcing aluminum crossover pipes.

I've never heard of the vendor, but interesting nonetheless... it does claim fitment on the LR4 SCV6

Looks like on their website, they have two versions, I guess the thermostat outlet hose has a revision at some point?

I think they are mislabeled, at least for USA use. I believe that is the version that will work for the supercharged version only, so I think it should say 2014 and up.

I could be wrong, though.

I'm just about to embark on the preventative crossover replacement and this would be great. The listing on ebay says "(Note: THIS DOES NOT FIT THE NATURALLY ASPIRATED 5.0 ENGINE!)" but yet later down in the listing it shows this as a supported engine. Is the Jag 5.0 engine different than the LR4 edition? I thought they were identical but I'm lost...

Unfortunately for V8 owners it looks like we will have to keep waiting. Being that the 3.0 has different part numbers for it's cross overs I'm not suprised this doesn't fit both.

Hoping this is the real deal and works for the supercharged engines! If enough people buy them, I assume a v8 version could follow!

Looks like it fits the supercharged V8 version that was not available on the LR4.

My originals lasted 11 years. I assume the replacements I installed will be the same. How long do you think your LR4 will last? When my sled is 22 years old I think some dodgy crossovers will be the least of her problems

What is the likelihood that the o-rings fail on this version? I would be inclined to put them on the next time I’m due.

Also just thinking, a cheaper/easier method to me would be an aluminum adapter that goes into the block but accepts a molded coolant hose. Then have aluminum adapters to connect to the current hoses. This method would allow access (with an extension) to a banjo clamp at the block without removal of the SC.
