Yes, the ivory is new. (The make a big deal on one of their marketing pages about their new color schemes - based on black/white.) Color preferences are so very personal. Black and white look very classy. For our truck we went practical. Arabica seats. The color nearly matches our chocolate lab grand dog and won't show dirt as quickly as the lighter colors. Black gets hot here in CO and shows dust a bit more. So the Arabica interior was an acceptable compromise.

Thanks Dubroz. I was curious (jealous) about you being able to get your vehicle in May. Mine is schedule for a month later in part because it needs to come through the Panama Canal!
It actually looks kind of cool - especially on that trim scheme!

I think you will love the Arabica seats, they are awesome. It was such a good choice for me with the dogs and dirt. ;-)

Dubroz; did the General Manager say why he thought it would be a short model year?

The sales guy told me it is because they are introducing the my15 in the summer. Said it will be a new body style and therefore dealerships are trying to limit inventory of my14.

It will be interesting to see if that really happens. I've only seen opinions on this; nothing official from Land Rover.

Anyone else found any definitive info?

My order is just about ready, few more days to tweak it.

Order submitted - End of May
Build complete - End of July
Delivery - End of August

• 2014 LR4 HSE Corris Grey
• Black Design Package 19"
• SiriusXM HD radio
• Climate Comfort Package
• Heavy Duty Package
• Vision Assist Package
• 825 Watt Audio
• Ebony interior leather
• Walnut finish

Dealer is up-selling at the last moment. Being told if I order extras now and they are installed at the port as opposed to at the dealership I can save money :)
Anyway, i'm considering all weather mats and the cargo cover. Am told if I add them to my order the discount will be; mats 540 vs 630, cover 330 vs 400. Anyone know the real prices of those OEM extras?

MSRP is the price of the car I'm being told, I'm going to ask for the best deal they can give me but reality is the only leverage I have is to not buy a new LR4. Truthfully this is the only car I want right now, I'm paying cash, and I'm having to use a dealer 2 hours away (via family member address) because the next 4 closest dealers have no open LR4 allotments.

I'm getting a bit antsy as this is a big chunk of change for me and hoping I get a "good one."

Check out the prices at the link below. That is the way I am going to go for everything other than what I want them to install. I am going to use Rocklin for mats, seat covers, etc.

As for having them added at the port vs the dealer it was only 10% difference for me. Not all that much.

I highly recommend the WeatherTech mats.

Do you like them better? Why so? I had Weathertech on my RX350's in the past. Went with OEM for my 2014 MDX. I was going to default to the OEM for the LR but if WeatherTech is better than I have not problem going that way.

I highly recommend the WeatherTech mats.

My question around the WeatherTech mats is what is the texture of the plastic/rubber used on them? Are they plastic? Or Rubber?

I can't stand plastic mats where my feet slide across them. I prefer the rubber mats that are somewhat sticky in mature so that my heel is not sliding as I press the pedal down.
