I am currently getting about 18.3 MPG in SW Virginia hills with an average speed of about 40 MPH. I would say my typical daily commute is about 65% 45 MPH+ and rest below that.

The other day I was able to fill up and get straight on the highway and run about 65 for a while and was getting 20.5 MPG on the computer. This was on very flat terrain.

Interesting mileage for a V6. I have 12.5K miles on my 2012 LR4. Trip computer indicates average of 16.4 mpg. When in the highway, driving at +/- 5 mph over posted speed limit, I average 22-24 mpg. Not bad for a V8 this size but I have to say most of the terrain is flat.

If I am on the highway doing 75-80 I am typically getting 19.5 MPG and this is with constant rolling hills. Plus the weather lately has been extremely windy.

One other thing I will add is that my AC Compressor hasn't worked from the day I bought the vehicle and I am currently waiting a replacement. On the long drives I have done this could be one reason the mileage isn't better as some trips have been on warmer days and this could cause the auto climate to think the compressor needs to be on all the time causing more resistance to the engine. Just something to throw out there. Not sure it really would cause much but something else to think about.
