21 MPG not bad

I did a 200 mile trip to the beach today and my average fuel consumption was 21 MPG. I think it's not too bad

That's pretty awesome. My best was 20.8 for a 170 mile trip. It was perfect conditions and the computer and the manual calculation was only one tenth off.

At 3.87 $/gallon it ended up costing $0.18 per mile!

I drove to LA and back, 800 plus miles, 21 mpg average. Amazing if you ask me!!!

I recently completed a 2000 mile roundtrip mostly on freeways and averaged 21mpg. On the trip I cut thru Canada to get to NY and on the MA then back thru a bit of NJ and PA. I can't believe that the peed limits all thru those states does not exceed 65mph. I was really surprised when I hit Ohio and found the turnpike is finally 70mph and no longer that 65 speed trap.

I was doing 80-90 mph most of the trip on the freeway. Then 50-60 mph on the back roads (twisties)

I went up to Big Bear CA this weekend and even did a little off road and ended up with 18.5 if you believe the onboard computer.

That's truly extraordinary mileage for a 6000 pound truck with a V8 producing 375 hp... Really!!!
