Yea Hi, My name is Nikko and I just purchased a Used 2001 Land Rover Ranger. When purchasing my Land Rover I knew about the slippage problem but I don't really know what the cause of it is. It slips in reverse but after a while will be fine once it's warmed up, I can even drive it on the freeway with no occurances is it my tranny or something else and is it major?

Thanks Humbling Friend Nikko.

Have you fluid level checked, sounds like you are low on transmission fluid and you will burn up that expensive transmission if you keep driving it low.
