Just replaced rear brake pads and had rotors turned to 18.25 mm. I have not replaced the sensor as a new one is on order. Front pads still have meat on them. The wire for the rear sensor has a integrity issue with the insulating jacket. How do I get the warning lights to go out?

Since the warning light is set off when the circuit opens, you can just "manually" close the circuit to get rid of the warning light: Cut the sensor from the edge of the wire, strip and twist the two sensor wires together and secure them with some electrical tape, then tuck everything in the wheel well liner. The warning light should go out until you are able to install the new sensor on the pad.
