I have just become the proud owner of a almost mint condition, 1-owner, low mileage (73,300) 2006 LR3 SE and have a couple of questions.
I live in the Colorado Springs area, the car came in from Pennsylvania where it was originally bought and run. The average altitude in Pennsylvania is around 1,000' above sea-level. I live and work at altitudes of between 6,500' to 10,000' above sea-level.
Would it be a good idea to do a hard reset on my vehicle to take into account the difference in altitude? Would the car/engine automatically adjust to the altitude difference by doing so?
One of the other problems I am experiencing is that it keeps telling me to check the tires, which I have done and they are at the right pressure (33 front, 36 rear). I am assuming that that might be because of the altitude difference, too?
Thanks to all.
