Multi Function Unit?

On a 95 D1, does anyone know what functions that are controlled by the "MULTI FUNCTION UNIT' which is connected behind the main fuse panel under the dash?

The MFU must be beyond the add gas, oil and dialing for tow truck owners.

No lie that still is a 2-3 fault code not a 3-2 ABS connector.
