L4 - 2012 TD2.7 Recommended Oil?

Is Castrol Edge Professional OE-X 5W/30 suitable?

Specifications ACEA C3, A3/A4, API Service SN/CF, SAE 5W/30.

This oil doesn't seem to list the ford specification WSS-M2C934-B as per the C1 5W/30 oil specification as specified in the Land Rover Hand Book.

Does that matter?

This is what I have in my shop manual for the engine oil:

SAE 5W-30 meeting specification WSS-M2C934-B only ¹
¹ If you are unable to find an oil that meets the
specification defined by WSS-M2C934-B, an
SAE 5W-30 engine oil meeting specification
ACEA:C2 can be used.

What would be the result if an ACEA C3, A3/B4 Castrol oil was used in a L4 2012 2.7 litre diesel was used?

Also there is a tap in the motor (sometimes) when the vehicle is on a decline at 60km/hour when you take the foot off the accelerator. An ideas what could be causing this?
