issus while trying to start...

Need some help please…
My 2005 LR3 has starting doing something when I try to start it up. From time to time when I turn the key I get a SINGLE click not like a dead battery with numerous clicks. If I turn it back and try it again it will start. It might take a couple of times doing this to get it to start. I have had the battery checked and it is fine.
I believe it has to be either the ignition switch, which I hope it is, or the starter.
Can someone lend a little assistance as to what this might be.

Since you are getting a click your ignition switch is probably fine. A single click usually indicates a problem with the starter or starter solenoid, assuming that the battery is fully charged. The first thing I would do though is make sure all the wiring connections are tight.
