My LR# 2005 has 48000 miles on it now.
I have noticed the gas mileage around town has dropped from roughly 14 MPG to abbot 12 MPG.
Is it time for a tune up or is there something else I should look at.
I have used Chevron engine cleaner at one time and that seemed to increase the mileage a little.

Also I had posted about a click I was having, it turned out to be the starter.

Other than replacing air filters more often, there is really very little you can do as far as tune ups go. I have found that using Command Shift 100% of the time around town helps out a little bit. Driving style and tire pressure also contribute to average mileage. Use quality fuel - no AM PM mini-mart junk fuel. I also read somewhere (owners manual?) that it is not recommended to add Techron or any other fuel additives to the engine. Warranty mumbo jumbo blah blah blah...
