Updating this post because I found stuff I was not expecting, and don’t want others to go through what I have.....
Initial testing of power to window switch pack I found 8V and all fuses OK. After much manual checking with door card off for contact issues, eventually purchased a second hand switch pack, and still nothing worked.
Another member sent me wiring diagrams and I started to realize how many items are mixed on this circuit.
This led me to check everything over again, start from the beginning, this time found no voltage to switch pack, and low and behold fuse blown. Replaced fuse (5v) all OK. Whether first test was user error or what... no idea!
Spent vacation on OBX driving beach... awesome!!! Coming home, drivers window failed again.... big sigh, big groan.
To cut a long story short, I finally realized that this circuit carries power to Drivers door window switch pack, Analogue clock, and the Drivers seat lumbar pump (via relays)... it is not in a BCM controlled circuit (reason for no codes), and lumbar has never worked since I’ve owned this vehicle!
Note - one of the reasons I did not put two and two together is that the icon for mirrors on this circuit (F40) looked like the sunroof to me - perfect.
So now I just need to take the seat out and dismantle/inspect the pump and relays, as I’m pretty sure I vanely tried the lumbar during the long drive home... and it’s that that is popping the fuses.
If anyone knows where the lumbar relays are... would be helpful?
