In my 2005 LR3, when I step on the gas I can feel the entire seat shift just a fraction of a n inch backward, and then forward when I brake.

I am thinking this is more likely the gears/teeth in the seat adjustment rather than anything being loose.

Has anyone had this and fixed it?

Its not a problem, but is rather annoying.

This is a known issue. LR is no longer replacing seat bases with defective new ones. LR is waiting for the new manufacturer to supply non-defective units.

I have it too and I just think of it as my friendly reminder of the charms of LR's...

At least it is better than a body that creaks like a DII.

Out of curiosity, did you take this in to have them warranty fix it?

Not sure you noticed, but that posting was 6 years old.

Did you check the seat base bolts?

If I start noticing my seat moving a fraction of an inch because I read this post I'm going to be really upset! :)

Haha.. sorry about that! I will be taking my in fairly soon to try and fix. Hopefully it is just a loose bolt.

Damn... now I just started noticing it on the passenger side of mine 2008. No potatoes for whoever bumped this thread up!
