Earlier today when I got into my LR3 the back up sensors started making this high pitch sound and the light on the dash was blinking. Tired to reset but not work

One of the sensors in the rear bumper is shorted. Sometimes the leads can get wet (after a high pressure car wash or a very heavy rain, for example) and the fault will go away as the water dries out. If you still have the problem in a few days, you will likely need a new sensor, the dealer can easily identify which one is faulty via diagnostics.
