Hi,
I have a 2006 LR3 and just got the OME lift (coil conversion) and Terrafirma 18 inch LR3 wheels from Lucky 8.
I looked at 32” tires as I have seen these on LR3, but they just seem too big, and I dont want to lose articulation as I am getting tires that also works for offroading.
I was going to get the BF Goodrich KM3 (MT / Mud Terrain) but now that I have to go down a size to 265/65r18, there seems to be no MT tires available. Can that be true??
So I am probably getting BFG KO2. Which is great but i was excited to go a little grippier.
or I can go with a RT “hybrid” like:
Federal Xplora RT, Toyo Open Country RT, Radar Renegade RT, Nitto Ridge Grappler or Discoverer LT Maxx.
Questions:
1. Is it really true that no mud terrains / MT tires are available in 265/65r18 (in the US)?
2. Anyone has proof of 275/65r18 AT or MT tires actually working out on a coil converted LR3 (not just looking good)
3. Any recommendations, watchouts or reviews of the hybrid tires I listed?
First hand knowledge and photos appreaciated
Thanks!
