I've seen various posts about other cars like lr3 and trying to keep travel trailer length down.
Just read article about the 2013 range rover that towed a 27' 5500lb airstream from England to Morocco in 11 days without problems. Isn't that as good of a comparison as I can find?
Online it says my cars max towing is 7716lb.. I don't have the regular full size version.. biggest concern is with safety. I'm also going to be towing trailer up a 10 degree dirt road to some vacant land I own.. is that an issue? Land is only 70 miles away..
We also would consider longer distance week long camping trips.. but only if it feels safe.
I wanted to keep travel trailer dry weight to about 5500lb.. but it seems like I need to consider a max length of the trailer too?
The tow hitch land rover is installing is rated for 6500lb.
Any thoughts/feedback?
