I actually have two LR4's. One with a new engine with 175,000 on the tranny and the other with 205,000. Neither transmission have been service and still have original fluids.

I took out the indent. The damage is further in. Almost as if the nut wasn't tightened down enough and the slop wore the thread off. But I did see metal shavings dropping as I was back the nut off.
