Non starting issues Discovery 1 v8 So here we are again! Some 10000 k's later I still have the not starting issue. My 95 Discovery 1, V8....replaced distributor, coil, spark amp, and removed the wonderful SPIDER. It does the turn over, not firing thing. If I remove the + lead from the coil...- dplatt55

Hi again! I wondered if anyone could advise, is there is a certain way of unlocking and starting a 95 v8? does it effect the behaviour of the immobilizer. Sometimes it won't start, I replaced the module, coil, and bypassed the spider. It seems to have a mind of it's own! I am going to only... -

Good evening!:hello: I disarmed the spider control box today, repaired it, and am now trying to decide if I should put it back again, or leave it out. Now that it is running again without it , would it be wise to put it back? David- dplatt55

Just what i didn't need, raining when i decide to work on the beast.fitted a new module, coil, took dash out soldered dry joints on spider thingy, checked all leads to coil, tightened as necessary . Not feeling too positive, connected battery, key in ignition and, and, and,....it started...- dplatt55
