    Carpet options

    Go to a junkyard and get either a super cherry carpet or a nasty one, and line-x whichever is worse. That way you can put it back to stock if you want, and you'll have a form fit, easily cleanable setup in the mean time. I haven't found a rubber replacement set that makes hosing the car out...

    Was this due to a design flaw in the kit, or the lower part of the factory manifold? I've heard of that kit and that problem but nobody seems to know exactly where the problem lies.

    Wouldn't it be cheaper and easier to just get a set of high quality rubber mats with nice big outer lips that would catch any mud, water, beer, or whatever else you feel like spilling on them...

    If the oil pan hasn't ever been removed, it almost never leaks. It's the last item of business because any other sneaky oil leak can look like an oil pan gasket to a careless eye. Just food for thought.

    154k, i think the codes were p1313 and p1314. Oh, and it had p0420 before i had the cat swapped out, and i know that i need to do the spark plug wires, i sprung a tiny leak from a heater hose and it sprayed the coil, i could hear the wires arcing all over. What brand of wires do these like...

I'm a mechanic by trade, ase certified in electrical systems and advanced electrical diagnosis, so ihopefully won't need too much help, but the problem is that i don't have a scan tool at the moment, especially not one that will do live data or manufacturer...
