    Check for loose or worn wiring to the compressor. I had a similar problem and found the wire was rubbed under the spare tire in my '08 RR S/C. Your situation is a little different but the symptoms are the same.

    06 or newer? I was told by two different Rover and Jag specialty shops that I have trusted for more than 20 years: avoid 2006 and go for 2007 or '08. '06 had some teething problems - first year with Jag power. YMMV

    Second Range Rover - 2008 HSE S/C

    My one owner 1988 Classic RR with is going away - For Sale - to be replaced by the '08 I just bought. If the '08 works like the '88, I'll be very happy. I'm going to miss the '88. It's been a good vehicle and it still looks like new.
