Suspension fault
Check for loose or worn wiring to the compressor. I had a similar problem and found the wire was rubbed under the spare tire in my '08 RR S/C. Your situation is a little different but the symptoms are the same.- WaisalimaMan

Feedback needed: Things to look for in Used 2008 RR Supercharged
I bought my '08 RR S/C with 111,000 miles on it. It had 2 fault codes. One cot $360 to find and fix. The other is no problem - TPMS fault code caused by not having sensors in all 5 wheels. pros and cons, maintance issus on 06 HSE SC
06 or newer? I was told by two different Rover and Jag specialty shops that I have trusted for more than 20 years: avoid 2006 and go for 2007 or '08. '06 had some teething problems - first year with Jag power. YMMV- WaisalimaMan

Second Range Rover - 2008 HSE S/C
