almost an answer The problem was that when they put the bypass hose on the hose kinked and restricted to an extent unknown the flow of the coolant- garylevine

Worse than that for me My dealer did just that but used a short hose, The hose crimped and the U was more of a V . Now three radiators later, he says this is not the problem. Says even with a V there was still some flow. I say not enough. So now it is radiator #4. in 18 Months, four...- garylevine

1999 4.6 HSE Heater Bypass
Here is a good one. In the last two years, I have now had 4 radiators. My shop installed a used engine two years agos. When they did it, they claimed that the heater leaked into the passenger side.
