To those who are running the 5.0 LR4 - do you have an easy way to test for vacuum leaks? I think I may have a minor leak, as it's starting to surge and stumble when cold, but not throwing codes. I want to get ahead of it before it gets worse. I have access to an air compressor. Let me know!

check your pcv valve? Those tend to wear, creating a vacuum leak. Also, dirty throttle body can mimic a vacuum leak.

if pcv valve, spray a little brake cleaner around it and the engine will stumble slightly as it sucks in the cleaner. You can also smoke test it.

Thanks, I'll try that. On a few of my previous cars, I was able to lightly pressurize the intake and listen for air leaks. Thought maybe there'd be a similar process for these guys.
