I am new here, please accept my apologies if I am raising an issue which may have already been discussed.
My RR let me down I was driving through the village at approx 20 mph, turned right hand corner and found the revs going higher but no movement in car. I pulled over at a safe place , tried to rev car again but car would not move just the engine reving. I turned off the ignition for about 20 mins started car again moved it a couple of hundred yard s without propble , reversed without any problem, drove forward again, the engine was reving higher but no movement. Again turned off the ignition and again went thro' the same proceedure but the car would not move.
Unfortunately I did not have my scanner to check possible codes . There was a very brief message on dash , tranmission fault. It only appeared once and did not reappear .I am guessing gearbox , converter problem , transfer box. Any ideas please ? Many thanks
