Range Rover Sport SE 2014 - Tailgate Problem

Tailgate won't open with key fob or any of the buttons at the rear or in the car. I can hear a latch sound and the motor sounds, followed by 3 beeps but doesn't open. Thought it was low on battery; charged but still doesn't work. Not sure if something was broken when the tailgate was manually pushed to close because it was working prior to this.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Sounds like the linkage has gotten disconnected. It will probably require taking the tailgate apart.
