Thanks for all the feedback on what to do with my battery that has been out of the car for the past 18 months.
I am stuck with one thing though - I took out the battery and don't recall how to secure the clamps to the post. I have the battery in its spot and the clamps on it but now I have 2 nuts and 2 screws left to secure it. Can I assume that the nuts go under the clamp and you just thread the nuts through it? Does the wide end of the nut go on the battery or the thing end? If anyone has a pic of their's it would be greatly appreciated.
