aux and phone fitting lr3 se

Can anyone tell me why I have an aux button but no spot to hook up an aux cord? Also I am trying to get information how to pair my phone to the land rover as well. I push the phone button but tells me "phone not fitted"

Aux - sit in the second row, in the middle. look at the center console/armrest, find the 12v socket/cigarette lighter, lift up that large flap and you will find the Aux.... Dumb location...

If you are using Bluetooth, there are a couple of system differences try pairing from your phone using 2121 as your PIN and have a read of this:
