Can anyone vouch for the Rochester, NY dealership?

No idea on that dealer. But you could try lucky 8. They’re an hour away and seem to know their stuff. Hope you get it sorted.

I’m with you on the weboost. I’d love to totally unplug but sometimes it’s not possible. Sadly.

Ah. Makes sense. I was hoping that you had installed a lan in the lr4, for the ultimate in remote workstation chic

Have you checked the transmission mounts as well? If the engine mounts collapsed then that would load up the rest. Glad you got a resolution though.

Someone to contact about swear filters?

https://xenforo.com/docs/xf2/options/#censoring Time for someone to rollup their sleeves and put in some graft I think.

Someone to contact about swear filters?

I can handle it. I have my big boy pants on. After all I bought a Land Rover and take it off-road. How crazy is that.

    Exterior A Trim adventures

If you stump up for new trim pieces they come with the Land Rover clips installed, Also the Trim piece rubber is new which seems to get overlooked as the memory that the rubber sealing part gets was really bad on mine (So Cal based) where it meets the windshield. The clips hold the trim pieces...

Another Crossover / cooling system job

With regards to the fan clutch tools. Just rent then from autozone or similar. Save yourself a few bucks. I just completed a video of the clutch removal on the YouTube Chanel in my signature. Good luck buddy. And it’s not a left handed thread!!

To upgrade head bolts or not?

Have you scoured the jag forums yet? I’m sure one of those guys has gone down this path, or at least decided one way or another.

To upgrade head bolts or not?

Studs over bolts any day as long as you have enough clearance to get the heads on and off, and you have enough space for appropriately sized washers and nuts of course.

    Interior Trim

It just pops off. It’s secured by s couple of clips. Get a trim tool underneath at the front and lift. There’s a clip on the left and right hand side I think.

Engine light when fuel level down to a few gallons Err Cd is fuel system performance

I had a similar issue. Nothing wrong with the fuel system. It was the starting battery on its way out and the aux one totally fritzed, together with the alternator frying itself, for some reason I had to do both batteries replaced to get the gremlins to subside after installing the new alternator.

    Dead Battery Mark Twain NF

If it’s your alternator then you will get “charging system failure” on the cluster when you start up and a red warning triangle I think. After jumping make sure that the battery connections are tight. It could be one has worked lose.

    Front End Suspension(?) Unidentified Noise

If you’re d changing out the control arms then have a quick look at the sway bar bushings and drop links while you’re at it. They don’t take long and are pretty cheap. Then if you’re feeling really enthusiastic swap out the upper control arms, mine had partially cracked bushes at 55k, and then...

    Front End Suspension(?) Unidentified Noise

If you’re greasing bolts just grease the parallel part, Not the thread or nut. (Give it a spray and wipe once you push the bolt though the housing) Torque values on these rovers are all “dry” unless stated in the shop manual.

Looking for a 19" off road tire.

Virtually the same with only 4K miles. Still very happy with the shift from the original spec Contis
