You should be ok with the water pump.
My money is the tensioner is past it. You’ll see when the new one comes. Remember these things (tensioners) move every time you get on and off the gas to keep the belt tension consistent, it’s very much a dynamic system. If the spring is on it’s way out...
When the belt is off have you checked for any debris on the tensioner? When I changed mine I was amazed at how much was on there. I scraped off a surprising amount, it felt lumpy in places and very caked on.
Did you use aftermarket clips? There’s a difference when you compare them to the LR ones. The LR clips hold the A trim much tighter, at least that’s the case with mine.
Rats. The clip that failed on me was lr011221 the one you’re missing just secures via a Christmas tree fitting so a good thick cable tie should be ok if you can’t find a replacement
Sorry dude.
Extend the faring all the way to the roofline as suggested. If that doesn’t work remove the rack when you don’t really need it and go from there.
As others have mentioned, if a rack hasn’t been designed with regards to wind noise then it’s an uphill battle.
There’s a tiny collar that you push in towards the pump body then withdraw the plastic elbow on the pipe.
You may have to brush off the crud first. But it’s apparent when you get it all apart.
it is available separately so don't despair, mine crumbled to dust as I lifted the supercharger. I'll be back home Sunday if you can wait that long for me to find the part number.
On mine the crossover where it enters the block at the front was totally wasted and only held in place by the Allen screws and gunked coolant. That was at 55k miles. Granted it was probably mostly city driving in LA by the previous owner.
I plan on inspecting at 55k next time and see the...
That’s the gasket for the inter cooler to scroll section of the supercharger, ie. Upper to lower halves. It’s a metal gasket with a silicon sealing surface. If you’re careful you shouldn’t need to replace this. The same goes for the throttle body to inter cooler gasket.
They’ve thoroughly beaten this subject to death. Also lots of pics of precisely what’s needed and info on the steering wheel mods for the additional control etc.
Good luck.
I had the same thing. Turned out the battery went on the fritz. Then the secondary one. Prior to this the alternator died after being cooked during an excursion into a mud pit.
But the low pressure pump output is dependent on the voltage somewhat. So check the lp /primary (can’t remember what...
