Push without Starting
I'm a huge stickler of not firing up a cold engine to move a car a few feet, so I tend to push them in/out the garage or within the garage. The LR4 is much harder to move than my Miata though! lol -

Ah. My bad. I have a 2013 with a shift lever. I'd imagine the manual must provide guidance on how to get your vehicle into neutral. You ought to be able to do it. -

Yup. Just did it yesterday. Push button without pressing brake pedal. Then press the pedal and shift into neutral. -

That sucks. Meanwhile, I had a warning light back in Xmas, found the reservoir near the bottom, topped it off, and have been fine and level ever since with no trace of a leak. These coolant systems are weird. -

The first 3 years we owned it we put on 7500 miles per year like clockwork. The last three years have been less (~5.5k, ~4k, and probably 5k this year) because I had a bad foot injury for many months and because we had a leased vehicles with a lot of "free" miles. I suspect we will go back to... -

Same here. Except when I was an idiot and damaged the front one during the brake service. If the pads look visibly worn, changing them could make it go away. I replaced my rear pads at ~23k miles and the slight noise issues I had went away for good. It has been 3 years and 13k miles and no issues. -

New OEM Lug Nuts or Gorilla Lug Nuts?
Somehow I just saw this thread. Good to know there are alternatives. One of mine got pretty bad and I had to hammer the socket on to get it out. I bought a new, OEM one and I'm good to go, but that may only be temporary. Reminds me, the socket is still stuck to the old lug not. I need to get it... -

I would tend to agree with this. It certainly seems speed (rotational speed)-dependent. But it doesn't seem to make the sound every revolution (hard to tell from video), the the period is consistent. I'd look underneath for a mechanical interference. As for the first video, my mind immediately... -

I thought that the metal disk actually completed the circuit by wearing away the casing protecting the contacts, exposing the contacts and triggering the sensor when the contacts touch the metal rotor. I always flushed my other cars every 2 years. That was (is?) BMW's recommendation. I believe it was 3 years for LR. I could probably wait another year based on how little I drove it in past two years. I live in the Boston area, so it's humid in the summer but dry in the winter.
