Dealer does not recommend changing transmission filter...ever?
Easy, but messy job. Pro-tip is just to saw the neck of the filter with a hacksaw blade and that pan will drop right down. Second pro tip is that while you are in there, unscrew the 13 torx bolts and drop the mechatronic unit so that you can change the 3 rubber bridge seals that reside up... -
Relocating backup camera
No parking line guides with the Kenwood camera, that must have been internal to the OEM unit. The Kenwood camera does display automatically when shifting into reverse like the OEM unit. It sometimes takes a bit, just like the OEM did. -

I left the factory one in place so I didn't have a water ingress point and added a Kenwood camera mounted to one of my rear swing-outs. It works just fine and in the same manner as the stock camera. IIRC, because it's been a while, the stock cameral wiring has a connector inside the cargo area... -

WAG, but I do remember a poster on here who did the job and had two connectors near the rear of the intake IIRC plugged in incorrectly. Evidently same connector was used in two nearby locations. Once he swapped those, the truck fired up. -

To upgrade head bolts or not?
Not a machinist here, but would lean towards "do it once, do it right". Especially on a boosted application. I doubt LR incurred the cost to up the bolt size for no reason. -

I would be interested in a mod to get rid of the 2 pipes running underneath the rear suspension. After laying in the driveway gazing up into the rover for about an hour, I am fresh out of ideas though. -

Thule makes a spare tire mounted bike rack. I have used it on my TR swing out without issue. I see them fairly often around here on Jeeps, as well. -

9.6 off sounds like a bad battery. Isn't an AGM supposed to be somewhere around 10.9-12 when vehicle is off? 9.6 off sounds very low to me. -

I agree with everything but the trans. I would that at 80K, but I'm old and don't have much better to do than crawl around in my driveway.
