Fire up the welder. The head is likely weldable, and on the completely stripped/floating tensioner bolt, I would want that filled and then redrilled and tapped. Not tapped oversize. The dealer might not be able to do it, but there are shops out there that can. -

You can still get standard NATO jerry cans with the standard pour spout. You have to look around, but they are out there. This is what I used before I got an aux tank. No way it took more than a minute or so to empty the can. -

Relocating the two hoses in the right rear wheel well
I did it similar to above. Just used 5/8 heater hose. Not a big deal. Follow the instructions in the service manual to get a good bleed done after it's buttoned back up. If you haven't already done it, take a hand sledge and pound that "shark fin" body joint flat, as well. -
