I can't see how silcone wipers are going to deposit silcone on the windshield. If I lived where temps rarely go below freezing I would ditch the wired windshield. Replace your glass! Even my 3-4 year old ones are severely pitted but we do have harsher environment. -

That's not really towing. Trouble begins on fast multi-lane highways at speed with grades and crosswinds. That will expose weaknesses in your setup. -

Not all dashes are leather. That was a special "upgrade". In the reality of life it is a pretty stupid option for dash material. -

I use my mityvac for extract only. It's a pita to clean to use for filling. I use a small pump for the diffs etc or amsoils nifty bags that their gear oil comes in. -

Probably. The LR3 had poorly designed air vents that tended to clog. Maybe less fluid reduced leaking diffs? Keep your vents clear and fill to spill is what I have done for the past 10 years and 100k's miles. Seems to work. Land Rover is so worked up about fill level but then spec a 10 year... -

Gasoline has nothing to do with the MAFs, only air stream. A little quick gentle spray usually does the trick. If that does not work I move to the 44K. One of those every 3 years or so.
