DTC P026A / Intercooler outlet temp / Aux pump / Velocity AP

Check back through the tune thread and there are a couple pages where Fuji4 talks about what he did to upgrade his aux pump and some other theory/tech. Thinking about it, his reason may have been a similar scenario

DTC P026A / Intercooler outlet temp / Aux pump / Velocity AP

Did you clear it and did it return? My first thought is that it was just a product of the immediate conditions; high ambient air temps plus high load demand coupled with the fact that our setup is not the most efficient (intercooler above hot engine). I’m sure the Tetons are a more significant...

I found these online somewhere too and printed them off; I think I just found them through the google machine

    Long crank, no faults

Yep, that’s it. There is one for each cylinder, and make sure you get the right ones for either V8 or V6

    Long crank, no faults

Forgot about Delphi, I’d trust them too

    Long crank, no faults

I’m not 100% sure but I would suspect Denso; someone else me be able to confirm or correct me. I would also trust NGK or Bosch as an alternative, but they could also be OEM

    Long crank, no faults

@Jimmy Brooks i was going to suggest that; try 1 new plug and 1 new coil on to replace the ones you tested and see if you get better results. If so, then do the rest

    Diagnosing AC Trouble

Had these symptoms on my Silverado and it was the compressor. Turning A/C off then on worked for a bit, but it finally conked out for good.

    Long crank, no faults

Have either of you tried cranking while the battery was hooked to another power source like a tender or another battery? Just thinking if it was electrical, then supplying power to offset the load might rule some things out.

There is a TSB on O2 sensors, so check that out before coming out of pocket

Upper ball joint hex broke- any advice getting this back together?

Can you try heating up the stud to see if it will swell just enough to pull out the broken bit?

2015 LR4 GPS based construction alerts possible?

2015 LR4 GPS based construction alerts possible?

Dang, that’s larger than I thought! If you could share on something like Dropbox (I think their limit is 50gigs), I’d be willing to Venmo some $$ if it worked. **edit** just did a bit or forum searching and the update appears to VIN locked or an unlock code needed, so that may be a dead end

2015 LR4 GPS based construction alerts possible?

Can the updated map file be ‘ripped’ to a thumb drive and shared?

    Selling 2016 HSE

Looks sharp! I love the grey color. Have you looked into selling it to the dealer? Anytime I take mine, they always want to buy when I ready to sell; can’t keep them on the lot when they get them. Whatever Carmax offered I know there’s still meat on the bone.

    Crossover pipe work

I guess where there’s a will, there’s a way. I don’t think I could have been able to do it this way, but good on him. I don’t consider alignment pins a tool; there are alignment pins on the SC, no need for extras. There is only like 20 bolts holding the SC on; most of those are for the ‘lid’...

    Crossover pipe work

He must be using children with tiny arms to do this work . Even with the SC off you have blind access to the the screws for the rear pipe, so I can’t imagine trying with everything on.

    Crossover pipe work

My 2cents: If he could get the rear crossover off without removing the supercharger, then it wouldn’t be $1100. Any removal of the SC makes the front pipes a 5 min job. Water pump and thermostat would be just a few minutes of extra work with everything off. Not sure why he’s saying that, but it...

2016 LR4 Coolant Crossover, Water Pump, Thermostat Replacement

Yep, I forgot this too. Basically anything coolant related while you have the system open. I haven’t done plugs; I believe they are iridium and last for 100k+ mi. I don’t think you would be wrong for doing it while I’m there, but may not be a big advantage

2016 LR4 Coolant Crossover, Water Pump, Thermostat Replacement

@DiscoLR4 I would do anything supercharger related while you’re there; update the coupler and change fluid. Do the PCV, just cuz it’s easy access. I also did the thermostat while I had everything apart and the coolant drained.

How Much Do You Pay For Insurance?

I also highly recommend using a website like Zander insurance (no affiliation); I plug in what I want and it returns multiple companies and their rates to see who is cheaper for the same coverage. Then I purchase directly from whatever company’s site.

How Much Do You Pay For Insurance?

I just switched from Liberty mutual to progressive for all 3 vehicles because of a 30% rate increase for no reason; no accidents, tickets, or claims in over 10yrs. I increased to full coverage on our others cars and it was still cheaper. I also shop around each renewal time because they don’t...

Compomotive 18” Wheel; Quality Control Issue

Yea, YouTube has a lot of videos on how to diy clear. Like @Al Pizzica said, you could also look for a wheel guy who could essentially do the same thing; the 2K option would just be the diy route. I have also used Rustolium’s wheel paint (black) on my old suv and motorcycle wheels and it held...
