2015 LR4 front end sagging overnight

Alright, calibrated. It was pretty close, or my measuring was off. Either way, we’ll see. Front end lifted on startup and the truck was only parked 4 hours. I thought about it more, and it still lost air with the EAS fuse pulled. So I’m guess it isn’t calibration and it is a leak.

2015 LR4 front end sagging overnight

Interesting. I tightened up the fittings at the block and now the rear sags a bit too. I’ll do a calibration tonight. I ordered a new valve block too just in case.

    Prospeed product interest?

I ended up giving up on this as there wasn’t enough to make it worthwhile. Prospeed will ship to US if you ask. I ended up with an air compressor guard from APT via Rova Range in Australia as Prospeed was out of stock.

2015 LR4 front end sagging overnight

I was surprised the kit didn’t come with these. Do we have a source on them? I have a universal o-ring kit I can check but a difference of a mm is a lot here.

2015 LR4 front end sagging overnight

That’s the kid I bought and it’s both sides equally. That second video is great, but I did exactly that. I guess I’ll take it apart again and see.

2015 LR4 front end sagging overnight

Copy. I’m fairly certain I goofed the center valve on the block, it didn’t come apart or go back together in a way that seemed correct.

2015 LR4 front end sagging overnight

Bumping this. Did anyone ever find out if there is a “sag spec”? I was dropping overnight in the front, replaced the front valve block o-rings, still losing about 1/4” overnight. Tested in off road height with the EAS fuse pulled. I can’t remember if it has always done this….

WTB LR4 compressor guard and front skid

Looking for anyone with either. Any compressor guard, I’ll probably be picky about the front end gaurd.

    Compressor running

If your valve blocks were leaking, you’d have sag overnight. You’re positive there’s no sag at all?

    Prospeed product interest?

I can ask just be advised shipping costs may be huge

    Anyone running 20" Defender wheels?

They’ll fit just fine. Just watch out for the sizing, the factory rubber is pretty big for a stock LR4 IIRC.

    Prospeed product interest?

I asked about one already, it’s like $350 to ship. Bummed by this turnout here and elsewhere, I thought it would be more popular.

    Prospeed product interest?

The Prospeed rep mentioned they would send other products as well if there is interest. I can change the name of the thread. the TF sliders don’t have that protection, the Tactical ones do but they’re $2600 after shipping… so yea no thanks.

    Prospeed product interest

Hey all, cross posting from the LR4 forum. Working with Prospeed on getting a batch of item shipped stateside. Any interest? Post here: https://www.landroverworld.org/threads/prospeed-product-interest.45564/#post-250526

Do durable side wall tires exist for the LR4?

    No not with this size

Do durable side wall tires exist for the LR4?

Yup I air mine down to 12-13 at times no issues. Toyo make a tough tire.

    ARB Fridge

Goosegear makes a platform IIRC. Simplest way is to unscrew the factory tie down, and bolt a piece of plywood down over the cargo area using those threaded holes. Then bolt a slide onto the plywood.

    Disabling door sensors?

Yup, if it’s stupid but it works… it isn’t stupid. As long as it isn’t raining it works perfectly. But if it’s raining you aren’t in and out of the truck often anyway.

    Disabling door sensors?

Leave the driver’s door closed on the first click, not all the way closed. Then you can open/close every other door without turning on all the ECUs every time.

My LR4 experiences in terms of mechanical issues that keep piling up

Is this your first Rover? Never has the brand been associated with quality, and the military defenders were anything but. The oil cooler isn’t out of the ordinary but also not common. The control arms water pump and hatch, yes totally normal. It’s an old Rover. At this point in its life if it...

    Updated sources for skid plating?

lol I have some friends with fab shops and built the roll cage in my old XJ but I don’t have the time anymore. Not interested in replacing the factory skids, those are fine for me. But I want protection at the front to protect the radiator/condenser and the air compressor guard.

    Updated sources for skid plating?

Figured I’d bump this up, anyone know who’s stocking anything anymore? Looking for an air compressor and sump guard… I’d love to go with APT but it seems impossible to get shipped from the three Australian vendors and everything else is out of stock everywhere I look.

Fixing wind noise from pillar covers?

Yes. Used someone the indy shop recommended and he did a **** job. He broke almost all the clips and used the windshield sealant instead of getting new ones. Cleaned it all up and reinstalled with the Amazon clips. No issues, that was about 1000 mile ago.
