Hi Y’all!!
Welcome! I've seen software lifted trucks locally with 32" tires. Seems to work ok. Lift rods just trick the computer so the end result is the second either way as far as I can tell. I believe JCs British in Denver does software lifts. I've no direct experience with either approach yet though.- BikePilot

2011, 66k miles, flat battery issues
It sounds like a weak battery. A good battery should be able to withstand door opening and 15 min of radio. A good load test of the battery should tell the story. Small hand-held testers often generate false positives. At 4yrs old I'd consider it at the end of it's expected useful life and... -
Bike Racks!!! Any ideas?
Awesome, I also MTB a ton and just bought an LR4. Can you open the LR's hatch/tail gate with the rack installed (and titled back I'd assume)? I'm seriously thinking about the 5 bike Recon for the LR4. Currently using either a pickup truck (likely to be sold soon) or 1-up racks on the roof the... -

New LR4 in Colorado + setting up a trailer hitch
Hi all, Just signed the papers to buy a 2011 LR4. My first project will be setting it up to tow. It doesn't have the receiver adapter gizmo and, I suspect, doesn't have the wiring for the trailer plug (didn't pull the cover off).
