Thanks! It's a shame LR didn't see fit to update to Aluminum. I'd guess that it'd be tough to get enough committed orders to invest that much capital. You can put me down for one though! -
ARB dual compressor mounting?
Has anyone mounted up an ARB twin compressor for onboard air? I searched and found references to folks doing it on LR3s but I think we have an air box where they were mounting them. I also saw references to a second battery compartment but I can't seem to find one--i think mine is full of abs... -
LR4 Tail Gate - Auto Lift
I think that if I were the LR4 hatch engineer I might have made it so it opens when unlatched due to strut pressure and then has to be manually closed. Lots of ways that could go badly and probably all of them quite funny! -

Is there not an updated version that solves the problem? Porsche had a fit of insanity and speced plastic cross over pipes on cayennes initially but then when they failed the replacement parts are metal and seem to have put a stop to the failure for good. I'd have hoped that rover would do... -

255/70/18 KO2 fitment?
I'm not sure I follow. 255 is the section width, and all 255s will be the same (excepting the usual variations from one tire make/model to another). The second number is a proportion to the first, so a 255/70 is shorter than a 265/70 b/c the "70" proportion is applied to a smaller number. BFG... -

Thanks for the details! I may well go with compos, not sure yet. It'd be an easy choice if I liked their looks :) So broadly the more tucked in the better in terms of tire clearance? My stock tires are 255/55/19 so the 255 section width would be consistent with what I have now. -

Bluetooth phone & audio for 2011 LR4?
Google support says my phone can only do one connection at a time which is unfortunate. They also say it's BT 5.0 which seems to be the standard that allows dual connections... I'll play with it. -

What is the best way to upgrade a 2011 LR4 to do Bluetooth phone and audio? It does phone calls just fine as standard, but the only way I've seen for audio is a Bluetooth dongle that pipes audio in through the aux or iPod port. My understanding is that would preclude Bluetooth calling. Any... -

I'd do #2. The clear ownership history makes up for the mileage in my view. The split seat and dings would make me think the owner of #1 was none too careful with it. Or the mileage is wrong. My LR4 with 100k miles has seats that still look new. The HD package is cool too. -
255/70/18 KO2 fitment?
So looks like they used a 265/70/18 Falken WildPeak which measures out at 32.9x10.7". The BFGs I had in mind work out to 32.0x10.2. So maybe they would work w/o rubbing (but might be immobile with it on the bumpstops). -

Thanks! I was hoping that the reduction in width would offset the height in terms of clearance. Sounds like that's not the case, at least with respect to being able to drive on the bump stops (something I would like to retain) I wish they had KO2s in 255/65 sizing. I'm not trying to totally... -

Hi all, I just bought a 2011 LR4 and am anxious to swap out to more rugged tires. Has anyone here fitted these 255/70/18 bfgs before? I know I'll need 18" wheels. Will probably do lr3 wheels with spacers I'm in Colorado so lots of snow and rocky trails/dirt roads. I also tow a 5k lbs... -

2013 Range Rover HSE LUX
I'd fix. It's be more than 2x that to buy another one and in it's present state it won't be worth very much. Should be good to go for a long time once this is sorted. There's a chance it's something cheaper making the racket as well, but timing chains is my best guess as well.- BikePilot
