Yes, saw that...thank you. I’m not all that concerned in regards to fit as it seems well documented they do.
More curious what to expect in road manners and such
Hey all,
Lookng for feed back from those that have made the move to a 285/50/20. I’m going up from stock 255s and a bit torn between going 265/50 or up 285/50.
I’ve read all there seem to be on tires for LR4s with 20s. Curious on real world use and changes you noticed in on road feel, fuel...
A 275/55 or 265/55 is an dream for me. I’m mentally battling in what I want to do next as I too have 20s.
My issue is that I don’t want to run a full time lift and I’m not looking to spend then coin on Compos unless I really have to.
I feel 20s are still being felt out....something will come...
Any further snow/winter performance on the Zeons for those that have. Yes we all know a dedicated snow is better.
I’m torn on tires and in New England, this one is on my list
I should've followed up...my problem with the pressure values was nothing more than my stupidity as I looking for it with the truck on (engine) and not just in accessory mode.
All me on this one! My tire were properly inflated however.
Thanks all
Hate to be a noob and don't mean to hijack but does the LR4 TPMS system provide the tire pressure values? I have never seen this on mine and I use my own gauge.
Maybe I'm missing something, maybe not...it's a 2016.
Thanks!
So is it agreed that a "55" is to much for the LR4 wheel well in stock form (no rods) and with a 20" wheel?
275/55/20 would be a game changer and difference maker but doesn't seem like an option w/o modding.......I'd love to be incorrect
Also anyone running that new Conti AT tire?
I know, I know this another tire tread.
So my stock Pirelli's blow....nothing short of it. I'm in stock form 255/50/R20 and have plenty of tread life left but I hate them so much I want out.
With that said I'm looking at the Conti Terrain A/T's as a possible next tire. We are in the Northeast...
You are probably right..... I envision spec'd versions with all the tech for your cell phone but not the tech for the "offroad".
Some will get this reference if you are a Seinfeld fan.....the new Disco is very "Vegetable Lasagna" :D
I want to like it. Overall there are some real nice and necessary upgrades but the styling to me is a bust. The interior is eh....yeah eh....doesn't excite me but is now in line and modern.
I just feel that all LRs now have an identity crisis. We know the difference but the general public...
Now this is a smart man...I like this idea but also sounds out of my league.
This for me personally boils down to OEM look which I want to retain. As much as I love the LR4 they don't make it easy for us.
So does that mean you can only run fogs with his Aux lighting? I'd like to run my fog independent of any Aux lighting. Sorry if I'm not following here.
Sorry to have to ask as I did search but I'm not returning what I am used to seeing. I'm kicking around the idea of aux lighting on the bumper. My question pertains to wiring and switches and confirmation of a few items. I would like to run a wide beam lamp to gain better vision on back roads...
Coming from Audi's some the high pressure fuel pumps had Cam followers later replaced by a roller system on the fuel pumps piston. Is the LR ones similar in regards to it being a roller?
The first time I heard this I thought my engine was going for an overhaul...LOL
where to buy this? I went on to Ebay but I must be searching wrong. Any chance one of you guys can post a link? I am considering a HD package non tow package LR4. I'd add the Rhino hitch later and the wiring doesn't look hard in the least.
thanks for the support on my question.
I know dealers can see inventory coming in till October....whether or not that means production is still ongoing I don't know.
Would make sense that a retooling time is needed.
I have found a few but in the wrong color....yeah I know...I'm late to the party.
