LR5 Release Updates?
The Disco Sport has different seating packages when you purchase. You have the option of a 60/40 second row or a 40/20/40. So I assume they will do the same for the full size Disovery.- jaamrode

LR5 Release Updates?
Any of the 1/2 ton pickups these days have a tow ratings that very widely a Ford F-150 goes anywhere from 4900 lbs up to 11,400 lbs. It had to do with engine and final drive gearing. My guess is the new Discovery will be 7716 lbs. or 3500 kg, just like all of the full size SUVs from JLR. The...- jaamrode

Trailer light question
Did LR change the trailer sense signal from the brake/turn lights to the taillight when they went from the LR3 to the LR4. The LED lights however all work on the LR3 it's just that the brake lights pulse on and off if you don't put the resistor in. I had a problem of the contacts in the plug... -
Off road lighting
No, it is circular. It is easier to find from inside the vehicle. You'll need to pull the bottom dash cover off (2 screws), maybe the side panel by the dummy pedal then carefully pull the carpet back. The grommet is up behind the brake pedal. -

I carry mine in the foot well for the third row seat. The 90p would work just not nearly as fast. If you are just carrying it for the spare not a big deal but when you are airing up all four tires after a trail run the time really adds up. -

Just as a warning the spare will have to be deflated to fit in the wheel well. So you will have to carry a compressor with you at all times unless you move your spare somewhere else. -

This seems electrical in nature, a bad ground or a loose connection somewhere. They are glued to the hatch using essentially the same type of glue that is used to install windshields. Unfortunately there is no fasteners that hold it in place. -

Have you thought about getting the OEM hitch receiver or an after market one that does not interfere with the spare tire well? might be a easier solution and then you don't have to worry about mis-matched tire sizes. -

The LR3 tends to get confused at what height is at after lifting it off the ground to change tires. To fix this just put it in access height then back to standard height. This "resets" the height sensors and you will be fine. -

hitachi compressor use
I have a hose fitting coming off the EAS tank for just in case. It takes about 15 minutes to fill one 285/60 r18 tire from 22 psi to 40 psi and that is using the air reserve in the tank. Tiring to do all four tires is almost impossible from there because the temp sensors turn the compressor off. -

These compressors are high pressure low volume pumps so just adapting it to run without a tank will take a rather long time to fill tires. You then will run into problems with the compressor overheating and failing in a short time. -
