As a side note, you mentioned that you wanted to stay at stock height. The 275 will probably work in a straight line but turning will be an issue. Brandon runs johnson rods permanently. It gives him an increased height of 2.5". I rub in the front wheel well even with the 35mm lift... -

According to everything I've read the max is 31.5 which corresponds to 265/65 and 285/60 for the 18s. I run 265/65 and I do get a little rubbing against the frame horns but I only have about 2500/3000 miles on the tires. The rubbing is minor and could easily be handled using a metal... -

Wow!!! $78k for a used LR4... That is just insane. Don't they say that it loses almost half of its value when it's first driven off the lot?!? Well equipped from what I can see. -

I haven't found a shop that would allow to test this... They appear to all be oh so busy. However, it's only a half inch (0.6") difference with the 265 so it should be fine. The one thing though, is that it seems a bunch of people are relocating their rear HVAC lines... Not looking to have... -

Craziness. Your wheels are gonna be so far out!!! What are those called again? Mud boggers I believe. I can only imagine how it will look. As we've discussed I have them with the LR offset of 53 and my wheels are right there with the fender flares... You already have an offset of 20 or less... -
Most fun I've had driving int he snow in a while
This is exactly what I experienced with the Evoque. Really easy to use and for me almost more natural than the big shifter that's in my '10 truck. Funny about the zoom in zoom out. Old habits die hard. -

2014 LR4 lux delivery
Quijote, this is a great strategy. While driving the loaner Evoque around for a week, it made me miss (a little) more planted cars but I still love the LR4. The box design is timeless. -

I have black lacquer with ebony interior and I love it. As I don't touch it much, there's very little dust deposit (and no fingerprints). Except a little by the terrain response knob. -
Fuel tank capacity- Sucks
Some people advise to fill up when the indicator shows a quarter tank. This is because the fuel tank is shaped like a horseshoe so you might find yourself "out of gas" when cornering... I probably should just write turning as cornering seems extreme for such a large truck. Even though I don't... -
2014 LR4 lux delivery
Funny you say this. My wife is all about the boxiness of the LR4. She wants to keep it forever. I do like its utilitarian looks, but curves don't bother me much. Lack of visibility does. I spent a week with a Evoque and the view out the back is a little painful. Fun to drive when going forward ;)
