Lr3 Ten spokes with 30mm spacers still not fitting over Calipers

I had to grind on one caliper only. Figured maybe the wheel was a little out of round? The fit is very tight.

    LA Auto Show coverage

Interesting spare placement. Also, I love how everyone is putting them on slight inclines to make them look rough and tumble!

LR3/4 lovers, fret not. Replacement maybe on the way.

Sure, my thoughts are: New Bronco, or used G Wagon. And tell them to fire McGovern. Thank you :)

LR3/4 lovers, fret not. Replacement maybe on the way.

Well I didn't have it fixed, but the quote was something around there. If I remember it was a timing change tensioner something or other. I found someone who didn't care, it just made noise on startup, and sold it to him. It's funny, I'm getting lulled into a false confidence with this LR4...

LR3/4 lovers, fret not. Replacement maybe on the way.

Nice jab, btw my LR3 motor had a timing chain death rattle at 105,000 miles. $6000 to fix. LR4 motor, purrs like a kitten...

    Parking brake fault...

If it's the parking brake module, it's a pain in the ass. I guess first you have to find out what the fault is.

How many miles on your LR4?

Hang on, not even wheel bearings or control arms??? That's incredible! 2013 55,000

    L319 vs. L462...

Problem is there's just nothing to get excited about. I can accept the claims on here that it is an improvement in capabilities but for me that's not entirely what it's about. I need to be passionate about a truck ie it needs character. There is none here. Merely looking at any of the past...

    Another Defender hint?

That, and that it doesn't cost $80,000. Both those are musts in order for me to stay a Landy man. But I still have bunches of years left in the LR4, which by the way is slowly becoming my favorite car I've ever owned :)

Receiver Hitch - Is this normal?

Not only is it normal, but when your hitch gets older and starts to seize at times, you will swear it's unlocked because it moved a little, and keep trying to twist and twist that f*cker with all your might. And then realize it's still locked. good times...

    Another Defender hint?

From the article: “Our brand is about passion, and it is icons that drive that passion. The truth is the world doesn’t need another premium brand doing what all the others do. These icons are what separate us; at Land Rover we are rooted in our heritage and that’s what makes us different.” I...

    Freaking door lock

At that point I'd tell them I will fix it myself and then buy my next 6 land rovers at a dealer the next town over. It's probably something stupid like an actuator pin that cost $2 or so. If you can't diagnose yourself, just take it to any local guy, it can't be very complicated.

For those of you thinking about the upcoming winter...

Mine are warping but haven't fallen off yet. Did you go to dealer for it? Do you happen to have a part number? Thanks

    "Smart key not found" help!!!

Just changed mine the other day. I was impressed that the dashboard told me the battery was getting low, so I didn't have to find out the hard way as above!

Living up to its unreliable history

Also no issues in 3 years of 2013 ownership. 2 to 1, I guess LR4s are rock solid after all!! Actually the only of OPs issues I've even heard of is the a pillar cover falling off. $2 worth of clips will fix that one.

    Gobi Roof Rack

Damn are those attachment accessories expensive...$175 for a bracket to hold a high lift or an axe?

Everything about tires for LR4/ LR3 with 18" wheels

Thanks, appreciate it  I think my favorite must be green due to past history. I wish I could remember all the fancy names for the colors, but lemme try. My 91 Classic was 'hunter' green...maybe? That was my fave. A champagne gold '95 RRLWB, 1 baltic blue P38 and one something or other...

Everything about tires for LR4/ LR3 with 18" wheels

That does look great, and it makes me miss my Tonga LR3. What a great color. On my LR4 with 265 60s I think I'm at 42/48 psi. Ride is a little firm but I'm used to it. I went the poor man's route to 18" wheels but am happy with the result

Sat Radio 1,2,3 Scrolling from steering wheel

Hold the mode button on the steering wheel for about 3 seconds and it'll cycle through them. Just saw you have a '16. That's how it works on a '13, worth a try.

15’ LR4 Roof Racks and equipment.

LOL, I clicked because I wanted to see 15 foot long roof racks for the LR4. Welcome to the community :)

    New 2018 Disco 5

I absolutely HATED the rear of the LR3 when I first got it. I liked the whole truck then felt like they just phoned in the tailgate. Then I began to absolutely love it for it's uniqueness. So maybe this will grow on me too. The darker colors definitely look better. Keep us posted on your...

Wear & Tear hvac knobs - door armrest

Yep, no help here but that is kind of insane. You leave it out in the hot FL sun a lot? Good luck sorting it out?

Burning smell coming thru heat vent

Well you'd probably be crazy to drive it that far without getting them checked wouldn't you think? I'm surprised you haven't heard any noises at all, squealing grinding etc?
