18’ wheel suggestions for my black 2010 LR4
There are plenty of posts on this, the go to setup is either the compomotives or the LR3 18" wheels with 1.25" spacers. I did the spacers with BFGs and am very happy with it. It give it an aggressive wider stance, although I'm probably wearing out my lower control arms faster :) -

AC control knobs getting sticky.
My bushnell binoculars weren't stored in a foam case and they are so sticky I can't put them down! I assume it's the same type rubber? -

Sure, but will the new Bronco have those super cool $1000 big blindspot panniers hanging off and covering the windows? Right, didn't think so. ;) I've heard from Ford friends that eventually there will be different levels of off road worthiness, including a Raptor level down the road. I see... -

I imagine it is. What I can't imagine is why they can't build a car with as much structural integrity as everyone else? Somehow the LR4 managed to span the whole back window without a 16" wide brace, lol. I also can't imagine why they thought painting it so that it stands out to let everyone... -

Overall grade "C". I was expecting the worst given the recent design history. If this was the first Defender ever it wouldn't be too bad. But as an update of an icon, not so much. Speaking of C, what is that drywall sized C pillar/blind spot all about? -

They could, but there's too much money in selling us crappy systems. It's ridiculous, their systems are obsolete before they make it to the showroom. I can count the times I've used my nav on one hand. -

I don't think it's a terrible deal anyway. I bought my then 2 year old 2013 HSE for $41,000 with 25,000 on it. I think generally the market has gone up for LR4s because well, because Disco :( plus it's a landmark which would add a couple grand. I'd say you're at least in the ballpark and the... -

water inside pass. floorboard
I made a little 'roof' over my pollen filter box on my LR3, never had a water problem again. Easiest fix ever. I keep meaning to make one for my LR4 but knowing me I probably won't until there's a leak. -

Rain Water Leak
I've never understood this issue. With the sunroof closed, you see water coming out the sunroof drains when you wash it? Or do you actually pour water down the drains to test? In 14 years of these trucks, I don't think a drop of water has ever gone done by drain tubes, lol. -

2011 LR 4 won't turn over, locked in Park, emergency brake set
I'm not sure what's happening, those faults definitely occur with a dead battery. You could try to do a hard reset. Disconnect battery, wait 15 minutes then touch the positive and negative battery cables together for a few seconds. See if that resets whatever problem you are having. -

Tread depth & differential question
Good question. I want to say yes but if I do, does that mean that the under inflated tire 'shrunk' relative to the normally inflated tire? If a tire goes flat in the woods will anyone pump it up?? We're getting over my pay grade, lol. -

I can understand how that sounds right, but tire squish has no impact whatsoever. The circumference of the tire does not change based on tire pressure or load. -

If it was shipped common carrier, I could see $1200. Many times, unless you have an account the rates are astronomical. For example, I have many accounts that are 80 or 90% discount. -

It would be really really close. The front fender is closer than the horn. With 265/60x18 there's about 1 fingers width at the front and 2 fingers at the horn. So with 265/65 it would be just about shaving the front I'd say.
