Every time I see one with those idiotic panniers hanging off the sides I gag a little. I can't understand how someone at LR even THOUGHT to do that, let alone follow through with them. And charge thousands of dollars for them as well. :confused: -

Is it just a quick message that pops up right as you’re starting the truck? My 2013 has done it semi regularly since I got it in 2015. I bought a new battery early on after seeing it, pretty much ignored it since. Although I’m due for a new battery anyway. -

Why would the fuel pump get hot if there was fuel flowing through it? It doesn’t seem to me that it would matter if there was 1/2 of fuel above it or 12”, the fuel would be the same temp no? -

At 65,000 my 2013 has not been in the shop yet. I know, right? I'm sure I have control arms and wheel bearings coming up some time, but this has been a super solid truck. -

LR4 -> Defender anyone?
It wasn't too long ago that "As slow as possible, as fast as necessary" was the Land Rover credo. Now all the ads have LR's racing up and down mountains, stairs, jumping etc...Entertaining but pretty much the exact opposite of real 4 wheeling. Whatever sells I guess. -

I can't help it, I think it would have been hilarious if at the end: The 110 rolls over, crosses the stream and drives up a bank to arrive at a soccer field, where the mom and kids get out for their next game :) Just me? -

The obstruction is a structural beam. I think your salesman doesn’t know what he’s talking about. You can choose glass instead of that painted floating square, but the big fat pillar is still in there. Although it doesn’t look like it is as bad in the 4 door as it is in the two door... -

I've heard that it doesn't have to be painted as well, but I don't think the structural pillar behind it gets any smaller. In the two door, from pictures I've seen, it looks like the rear passengers can barely see outside. I can't think of any reason at all it has to be as wide as it is. -

Stability control not available
If you don't have an IID tool, I'd probably try a hard reset first, disconnect the battery and touch the positive and negative leads together for 10 seconds or so. -

Heated Steering Wheel Not Working
Funny this came up today, I was just wondering on the way to work if it was just me or my steering wheel isn't as warm as it used to be. So it still technically works, but I'm guessing it's on it's way out. And there's no question in my mind it's because my CPO expired last month! -

Lots of talk about the Hakka R3 on here. That's what I have on right now too. It's my 3rd favorite of 3 Nokian sets I've had, but it's still night and day better than any non-dedicated tire, that's for sure. -

Thanks for the input Rob. I suppose that could be the case, my battery is getting a little bit old but this 'problem' has persisted for a long time. Come to think of it, something else has persisted a long time: Not every time but often (for years) I will get a quick, 1/2 second "turn on car... -

interior lights not coming on...sometimes
Well, my beautiful baby is turning 6 next month. I haven't used the extended warranty one single time, amazingly. So my interior lights come on most of the time when I open the door but occasionally don't. I haven't figured out exactly what the scenario is but for sure they never come on when... -
