I never buy cars new, but that strikes me as incredible, "they" MAKE you buy a car from your local dealer??? Actually sounds pretty illegal to me. -

Really good write up. I'm going to start looking for a slow leak in my system, settles on all four corners after a few days. Not sure where to start, have to read up some more. Question, why do you need new voss connetors? I missed that. -

Whimp Warning - How do people get there spare on/off their roof rack?
I'm picturing a pulley on the front of your rack with one end of the rope tied to a dowel or something that goes through your hub. You'd probably need a second person to guide the tire as you pulled to sort of let it roll up the back of your car? Or something like that. Heck, I don't know... -

I'm still puzzled by this. Can you estimate how deep the water would be and what the 'normal' speed of traffic is? Is it just like an inch or two and everybody is going 70? I'm picturing people driving at 60mph thru a foot of water, lol. -

Intermittent rough idle
I was amazed just how instantly cleaning the throttle body worked, it was dirty but I didn't think it was THAT dirty. I'm 95% confident that's your problem. It's not hard to do, but I did find and follow a pretty good video on youtube just to make sure I didn't screw anything up. -

I've been thinking about this, because I really haven't had a problem with this with my past rovers. Maybe it's partially due to those two new 'air deflectors' or whatever they are down on the lower front fascia? I could see how those would help plow up water and throw it over the hood. Maybe... -

Yes you do, slow down or keep your distance as already stated. if water is hitting the windshield it is coming over the front bumper not from the rear of the tires so mudguards won't help. But in short, if water is flooding the windshield, she's driving relatively recklessly for the conditions... -

I got a LR duffel bag once, that was handy, still use it actually. An insulated cooler would probably be pretty cool. I'm not too big on the iPhone lens thing, which is probably good because they haven't sent me that or anything else! At least you got 'the thought' ramajama, because I got nuttin' -

Random misbehaviour
I had the EPB module fail, it's an expensive POS, given that in the 'olden' days a lever and a cable just fine. Yellow light once in a while is fine, just wait til it starts dinging and blinking red every 30 seconds or so...drive ya bonkers! -

Rear brake pads wearing faster than fronts?
Are the front brake pads bigger on the LR4? I recall the pads being about the same size front and rear on the LR3. I'm not sure that the 'intelligent' braking system part isn't just made up by someone in marketing somewhere. The rears have been wearing out sooner all the way back to my '91... -

OK, if it exists I'm not seeing it. When the phone is hooked up with the car, phone calls come through and that's all great. But there is no noise from either phone or car when I get a text or email (or any other app). Truthfully, it's probably a good thing :smile: but I'd still like to know if... -

Yep, what Paul said. I was trying to set up my trial, hung up, went back in the car and the 'button' wasn't there anymore. Called them back and they did whatever they do and it came back. Did they not say they could do anything about it when you called to ask them if you're still paying for it? -

This seems like it could most easily be answered by the body shop that worked on it. But yeah, she smashed the back, the antenna is in the back, the body shop worked on the back. It all sorta adds up. -

My '05 has a hand wheel to crank. It does as close to nothing as could be imagined. Maybe it's actually a crank for something else and I always thought it was lumbar? :eek: -

That looks pretty freaking cool NAS. I've always wondered where and how you route the wires for lights like that. Is it a permanent mount, or temporary? -

Reverse Mirror Dip
More than likely you don't have mirror dip option. It still shows up in the settings, just to tease you. My guess is that your lumbar is working, but just sucks like mine does too. It barely does anything...but never has.
