brake clicking
Well, I don't know that there's much to do about it. Took it apart, there's a little white 'switch' that rocks 20 or 30 degrees and allows the gearshift to move. It just sort of knocks against it's stops in either direction. At the very least I didn't (appear to) break anything! -

Just today I started hearing/feeling a clicking noise. Only in neutral or park, and with the accessories switch on or the car running, there is an audible clicking noise that can also be felt through the gear shift nob when I either press or release the brake pedal. It definitely hasn't... -

Good, maybe they will get back to building trucks! As JWest alluded to, I can't believe that the only thing they've managed to do with the terrain knob is terrain settings. Like BMW, that thing ought to control most of the infotainment settings. But it sounds like there are way more problems... -

My aftermarket has been ok, probably only about 10,000 on it though. For the price, I'd only have to get more than 30,000 to be ahead of the game. -

The 35-35-30 split was an option, the bare bones stock second row has the bottom you flip forward and then lay the seat backs down. Takes up about 4-5 inches of valuable space for the tall. And I don't think it laid quite as flat, but am not certain. I've had an air mattress in there before... -

If you're going to compare apples to apples regarding safety and your conscience, you have to compare similar crashes. I would waaaaaay rather be unbelted in the 3rd seat of a 5700 lb truck if someone crashes in to me at 60 (or any speed) than helmeted on the back of a 500 lb motorcycle. If... -

Yeah, I was thinking you were referring to airbags, but still overstated IMO. I'd be able to let someone sit back there unbelted on occasion and still care about 'em. Fortunately I don't have to worry about it though, never have that many passengers! -

The back of the third row seats folds to the level of your wood panel. That styrofoam piece under the wood panel is where the folded seats lie. I just pulled the seats out of my 13 and I'd be completely surprised if the holes aren't there on the 5 seater. It wouldn't make any sense to not... -

If you're going to keep it, be prepared to spend money. Plenty of things can go wrong, as with any car with that many miles. I might get the alignment checked, but I see no reason that they would pay for it, even if you didn't smash it into a pothole, I don't think alignments have any... -

It's easy and cheap enough to replace the brake sensors, easier still to just bypass the sensor by twisting the two wires that are in it together. Are you saying that you were driving at speed and hit that pothole that was deep enough to scratch your control arm?!?! If that's the case, I would... -
