Front tow recovery hooks?
Why's that? And where would you mount them? The front one is not huge but adequate. I've snatched a stuck semi truck with the front last winter. The stock rear one is about the beefiest tow hook mount I've ever seen. -

Heated Windshields
yep, 39 and lower for the snowflake. I think the w/s heater stays on for about 10-12 minutes give or take. I like the auto on for the front and rear defroster, that's a nice extra that the LR3 didn't have. -

was also thinking alternator, which isn't the end of the world. A rebuilt aftermarket one isn't much more than a battery anyway. But how far is your commute? Maybe it just hasn't fully recharged from the discharge. -

Old thread revival. I just bought a mity vac and it only pulled 1.25 liters out of the LR3 before sucking air. I tried to move the sucker hose higher and lower but no results. Am I missing something? -

I just asked two sellers of the IIDtool and both said that you can NOT disable TPMS. I wonder if they changed it, or legally they have to say that it doesn't? But yours does disable it? -

Considering a Temp Spare + Full Spare - Opinions?
Caber was suggesting to mount the tire on the hood using a mount you'd find from a rear door. It'd be pretty practical - and cool looking - in the Kalahari. Probably look pretty silly at Kroger, lol. -

CPO 2013 LR4 low miles vs higher miles
That's funny. And I like the quotes for the 'turn by turn' nav. Does that mean, it's like turn by turn, but not really? And what do you call a navigation system that doesn't tell you where to turn? Just 'a map' I guess. And don't worry short legged people, there will be other cars for you... -

Everything about tires for LR4/ LR3 with 18" wheels
Where are you going to put your spare? I like the combo, and the color, looks sharp.. If it was me, I'd probably lift it 3/4"-1" with the gap tool with that size tire.
